Mobile Kitchen Assistant

The successful candidate must be a good team player, confident, self-motivated and hard working with access to your own transport (mileage paid).
You will be a key player in our small mobile team, travelling to our school kitchens in the Deal and surrounding areas, covering sickness and busy kitchen days where needed.

Duties include assisting with food preparation, washing up, serving meals, cleaning of kitchen equipment, working with the team to run an efficient service and any other duties that may be requested by the cook.

Hours of work are 11am – 1:30pm, Monday to Friday, term time only (and will need to be flexible to cover parent evenings/taster sessions, functions and hospitality)

Previous experience of working in a similar environment is desirable but not essential. Ideally the successful candidate will hold a Food Hygiene certificate, however training towards this will be given.

Enhanced DBS check is required, cost met by employee.

 

Kitchen Assistant – St Margaret’s-at-Cliffe School

The successful candidate must be a good team player, confident, self-motivated and hard working. You will be a key player in our small team.

Duties include assisting with food preparation, washing up, serving meals, cleaning of kitchen equipment, working with the team to run an efficient service and any other duties that may be requested by the cook.

Hours of work are 11am -1:30pm, Monday-Friday, term time only, plus 5 additional days

Previous experience of working in a similar environment is desirable, but not essential.  Ideally the successful candidate will hold a Food Hygiene certificate, however training towards this will be given.

Role is subject to an enhanced CRB check, cost met by the employee.
