We have a vacancy for a Kitchen Assistant, in Palmarsh Primary School, Folkestone.
The successful candidate must be a good team player, confident, self-motivated and hard working. You will be a key player in our small team.
Duties include assisting with food preparation, washing up, serving meals, cleaning of kitchen equipment, working with the team to run an efficient service and carry out any other duties that may be requested by the cook.
Hours of work are 12.5 hours per day, Monday-Friday, term time only + 5 additional cleaning days. It is a permanent position.
Previous experience of working in a similar environment is desirable, but not essential. Ideally the successful candidate will hold a Food Hygiene certificate, however training towards this will be given.
