Kitchen Assistant (servery) at Selsted Primary School 

The successful candidate must be self-motivated and able to work on their own when required.

Duties include: Setting up the dining room for service and clearing down afterwards, recording food temperatures and serving meals. Ideally the successful candidate will hold a Food Hygiene certificate, however training towards this will be given.
Hours of work are 11:00-1:30, Monday-Friday, term time only + 5 additional cleaning days.

Mobile Kitchen Assistant for Folkestone and the surrounding area

Hours of work are 10:30-1:30, Monday-Friday, term time only + 5 additional cleaning days.

The successful candidate must be a flexible and willing to travel as you will be a key play in a mobile team covering sickness, vacancies and holidays.  You must hold a driving licence and have access to your own car. You will be a good team player, confident, self-motivated and hard working.

Duties include: Assisting with food preparation, washing up, setting up the dining room for service and clearing down afterwards, serving meals, cleaning of kitchen equipment, working with the team to run an efficient service and carry out any other duties that may be requested by the cook.

Previous experience of working in a similar environment is desirable, but not essential.  Ideally the successful candidate will hold a Food Hygiene certificate, however training towards this will be given.
